Heritage & Location

A Renaissance legacy, still in the family.

While building the fortifications of Zadar, Florentine nobleman and Renaissance architect Buonaiuto Lorini discovered the timeless beauty of Dugi Otok. Though he had the world at his feet, he chose to secure a different kind of legacy, land on this untouched island for his descendants. Today, the estate remains in the Lorini family's hands, a rare continuity of heritage and place.
